Crafthouse

2014   •   symbolics architecture + Design

Crafthouse was completed while working at symbolics architecture + design and the designs, drawings, and copyright belong to them.

Crafthouse is a small enclave comprised of twenty unique homes, tailored for modern living and unequaled in architectural excellence. The floor plans celebrate openness, fostering connections between the interior and exterior, and privilege natural light throughout. Details such as glass, double volume space, gallery areas, vast windows and custom millwork distinguish these houses. Space, transparency, and attention to detail play an essential role in defining family living spaces that are more architecturally crafted to new expressions of live, work and play. Crafthouse was featured in the Globe and Mail, and the Toronto Star. Model ‘I’ received the BILD Award in 2013 for “Best new single home design - over 4,000 sq.ft.
